Yes, we charge a £65 call-out fee for repair work. This covers the first hour of labour and is deducted from your final bill if you proceed with the work. For quotation visits, there is no charge. All rates are agreed upon before we start any work.
Yes. We are NAPIT registered (National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers), which means our work is regularly assessed for quality and safety. We hold £2 million in Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity insurance.
Absolutely. All notifiable electrical work (like adding circuits, changing consumer units, or work in bathrooms) comes with an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) or Minor Works Certificate.
We are a small local team, not a national call centre. We try to respond to emergencies in the Ryedale/York area on the same day. For larger planned works, we usually have a lead time of 1-2 weeks.
