1. Introduction

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the electrical services provided by Infuze Electrical ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Client" or "Customer" means the individual or business entity requesting our services
  • "Services" means the electrical installation, maintenance, and related services provided by us
  • "Contract" means the agreement between us and the Client for the provision of Services
  • "Site" means the location where the Services are to be performed

3. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final prices may vary depending on:

  • Actual work required upon inspection
  • Material costs at time of work
  • Access difficulties or unforeseen complications
  • Changes requested by the Client

We reserve the right to amend quotations if circumstances change before work commences.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed
  • For projects over £500, we may require a deposit of up to 30%
  • Late payment may incur interest charges at 8% above Bank of England base rate
  • We accept bank transfer, card payments, and cash

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment without charge
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a £50 administration fee
  • Refunds for deposits are at our discretion and will be processed within 14 days
  • Materials purchased specifically for your project are non-refundable

6. Safety and Compliance

All electrical work is carried out in accordance with:

  • BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations (IET Wiring Regulations)
  • Building Regulations Part P
  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Electricity at Work Regulations 1989

We are registered with NAPIT and hold £2 million public liability insurance.

7. Access and Site Conditions

  • The Client must ensure safe access to the work area
  • Power must be available for our tools and testing equipment
  • The Client is responsible for protecting their property and belongings
  • Additional charges may apply for difficult access or hazardous conditions

8. Warranties and Guarantees

  • All work carries a 12-month guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship
  • Guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage
  • Third-party products carry their manufacturer's warranty only
  • Landlord certificates (EICRs) are valid for 5 years as required by law

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the contract value unless negligence or breach of statutory duty is proven. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect losses
  • Loss of profit or business
  • Damage to property not directly caused by our work
  • Issues arising from work carried out by other trades

10. Data Protection

We comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal data is used only for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Complaints Procedure

We aim to provide excellent service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work:

  1. Contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue
  2. If unresolved, put your complaint in writing
  3. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days
  4. You may escalate to NAPIT or Trading Standards if needed

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
